Q: What is business coaching?
A: Business coaching is a professional partnership between a qualified business coach and an individual (or team) focused on achieving extraordinary business results. A professional business coach can help you get better results faster and easier than you can on your own.
Q: Why should I hire a business coach?
A: You will have greater results, challenge, clarity, accountabilty, focus, encouragement & support!
- Results – Accelerate the achievement of your BIG business goals.
- Challenge – If you want to make BIG changes you need to stretch. A business coach helps you by challenging you to stretch in ways you didn’t know you could!
- Clarity - If you don’t know where you are going, you’re liable to end up elsewhere. Business coaching helps you get clear on what you really want and identify the best business strategy to get it based on your strengths, passions and motivators!
- Accountability - When you make an external commitment you are more likely to keep it!
- Focus - It is easy to get sidetracked by day-to-day life. Business coaching helps you stay focused and on task to achieve your BIG goal(s).
- Encouragement & Support - Sometimes we can feel like we are all alone and no one cares. As a business coach, my goal is to help you succeed. I help you focus on your strengths and apply them to your goals. You deserve support from someone who will believe in you and your ability to achieve your goals.
Q: What is the difference between coaching, consulting and counseling?
A:

Q: What should I consider when hiring a coach?
A: Three main things to consider:
1. Is it the right time for you to work with a business coach? Don’t waste time, energy and money if it isn’t the right time. Ask yourself:
- Am I ready to face whatever has been stopping (or slowing me down) from getting what I really want?
- Am I ready to take action and make changes?
- Am I really willing to do what it takes to make this work so I don’t wasting my time, energy or money?
2. Is Amy the right coach for you? Ask yourself:
- Could I be open and honest with her?
- Do I trust her?
- Do I believe she has my best interests at heart?
3. Is it the right price? Ask yourself:
- What value would I get from business coaching?
- What would it take to get a postitive ROI from coaching? (HOw many new or returning clients would it take to break even? To get an ROI of 5-10x investment?)
- Do I believe that is possible? Why or why not?
Q: Do you coach face-to-face?
A: The coaching I do is predominantly over the phone because it is the most efficient way to coach for both me and my clients (no travel time, traffic delays, etc.). I will coach face-to-face in the Twin Cities metro area for an additional fee (to cover my travel time). However, if you are willing to come to Stillwater for your session, there will be no additional charge.
Q: Do you take payments?
A: Yes, I will take payments for coaching packages. Duration of payment plan will depend on the size of the package and your desired pace of completion (basically they must be paid in full on or before the last session). Due to additional processing fees there will be an additional charge for each payment. If you need a payment plan, please contact Amy to discuss.
